Finally, Denver is experiencing spring/summer weather and the FREE concerts in the park have been announced for the 2018 Summer at Crescent Amphitheater in Greenwood Village. Did you hear … FREE! The Goldsmith Metropolitan District presents this music series for their 22nd year.
The line-up this summer has some big names, and you don’t want to miss a free concert. The free concerts will be held on Tuesdays with music from 7:00 to 8:30. The park opens at 5:00 pm and OK to bring a picnic dinner with family and friends. No pets please. There is a designated area for lawn chairs.
New this year: SUGARDASH, a Dessert Food Truck, will be on site each week. Crescent Park is a smoke-free environment.
If there is rain, it will be subject to rescheduling, and if you wonder if there will be a concert – give 720-436-5943 to find out. There will be no rain dates scheduled this year.
Here is the line-up for the 2018 season:
The Crescent Amphitheater is located at DTC Blvd. at Belleview Ave., just East of Yia Yia’s Euro Cafe. Event staff will help with the direction of traffic for parking.
To make your concert experience the best, be prepared by stocking up on a few supplies you know you will want, any food supplies to keep the hunger pains, drinks to keep you hydrated and maybe a good chair you can feel comfortable in for a couple of hours.
If you plan to sit on the ground during the entire concert, do some stretching exercises with your back, and you won’t feel it so much the next morning. Sitting on the hard ground can wreck havoc on your back. A soothing warm bath the night before relaxes your back.
