The day arrived when it was time to plan the sale of the Sundance Hills home where I, my brother and sister grew up. Our parents were the original owners of the home, purchased in 1973. It contained 40 years of accumulated family items that would be a major job to sort and handle properly.
We needed a real estate professional who could market our vintage house plus provide contacts and assistance to help with the huge job of clearing it and selling furniture, etc.
Rebecca referred us to Lyn Hall, who (along with husband Jim) made the huge job of sorting and selling the contents manageable and for which I can’t compliment enough.
Rebecca coached us on when and how to plan the sale. Because the house needed major updating she encouraged us to put it on the market early to appeal to buyers who could finish remodeling by fall.
The house sold for a fair price to the type of buyer she envisioned: one who would need the whole summer to properly update the house. Had we waited only a few weeks we would likely have missed that opportunity.
I’ve never sold a house before and I appreciated how Rebecca was consistently available and able to skillfully and patiently communicate her knowledge of the process. Working with Rebecca turned difficult circumstance into a big success.
